Intro to Sourdough Bread

What to Bring:

Small Banneton 8-9 inches round or oval. OR a small mixing bowl with a flour sack towel. If you live more than 10 minutes away bring a cooler with an icepack to hold your banneton or bowl inside on the way home.

Clothing: Closed toe shoes and clothes that can get messy

Optional: apron, notebook, pen, small kitchen scale (highly recommended)

***You will bake your dough at home the day after class. You will need a Dutch oven AT HOME to bake your dough. If you do not have one you can use a pizza stone with a stainless steel bowl.

What you will take home:

  • Dough to bake at home the day after class.
  • A one pound bag of freshly milled whole wheat from Eck Farms.
  • Light snacks and drinks will be provided during class.

Cancellation Policy

  • Classes are refundable up to two weeks prior to class date.
  • Two weeks before the class date cancellations will be refunded 50% of original payment.
  • One week or less before class date cancellations are non-refundable.
